Does your home have discoloration on wall, ceilings, or furniture?

A damp or musty smell?

Water problems like moisture in the basement, plumbing leaks or other issues?

What is mold?
Molds are alive; there are hundreds of different types of mold. They are in fact living organisms that grow naturally, particularly in warm, damp, humid conditions with little or no air movement.

Where is mold?
Mold can grow almost anywhere: on walls ceilings, carpets on furniture. High humidity, plumbing leaks, condensation, all set up conditions that can allow mold to grow.

What are some of the symptoms of mold exposure?
Some people are more sensitive than others to exposure to molds. Molds can cause symptoms such as nasal stuffiness, eye irritation, wheezing, and skin irritations.

What happens during a mold assessment?
Basically, you will be receiving a mini home inspection tailored to the specific problem areas, and identification procedures for the sources of the problem areas. You will receive a written list of the problem areas and recommendations for the “fix”. You will also receive suggestions for your specific situation to help with the control and clean-up of the problem areas.

If you want to know more, have questions of concern or would like to schedule an assessment, please feel free to call, or e-mail me with your inquiries.
